I'm Abhijeet Shakuntala Bhimrao Tupe — a tech professional by trade, a hobbyist by heart, and a travel enthusiast by long weekends.
By day I build software. By evening I tinker with things that probably don't need tinkering with. By weekend I disappear onto a train and come back with a notebook full of small observations and at least one questionable purchase.
This site is named after the ugly duckling — the story I keep returning to whenever something I'm making feels a bit awkward, a bit unfinished, a bit not-quite-there. Every awkward step is just a swan figuring out the water. That's the whole philosophy.
Things that do one thing well, and don't ask too much of you on a Monday morning.
Bias to walking. Bias to the seat by the window. Bias to ordering whatever the next table has.
Most ideas worth keeping start in a notebook. Most ideas worth shipping survive a re-read.
Roles, projects, and the things I'm proud of having shipped. Updated occasionally; downloadable always.
